Our Academy
In September 2009, ' The Northumberland Church of England Academy' opened in Ashington. It operates over ten sites and is a one, all-through school under the leadership and management of a single Executive Director, Mr Phil Hearn.
The Academy is 'a large school with a small school ethos' supporting the development of good relationships with families and strong community networks. It offers a broad and balanced curriculum with a specialism of Design and the Built Environment.
