Supporting Ministers
The Newcastle Diocese has a team of Supporting Ministers available to help parishes with their various problems and plans. It’s up to you whom you contact, and what help you request – but whatever you want to talk about, the Parish Development Team would like to offer their services.
Please contact us by email or telephone – you can have as many Supporting Ministers come to your parish as you’d like!

Andrew Shipton, Simon White and Bar Nash-Williams make up our Youth Development Team. Their aim is to enable and support churches to initiate and develop an appropriate ministry to young people. They hope to encourage an approach of listening to young people while taking practical steps to address their needs. The team works to help churches welcome and nurture young people, but they say have no magic solution or blueprint. They believe young people have much to teach the Church and that relationship building is the way forward. The team is ready to listen, to share insights and experience, and to suggest resources.
