Lord, help us to learn that goodness is stronger than evil,
that love is stronger than hate,
that light is stronger than darkness
that life is stronger than death

and we pray that light will be stronger than darkness in our lives and in our world.

At Easter, we offer for the first time an opportunity to follow the Passion story complete with Easter bonfire and the chance to enter into the Passion without being tempted to pop out to the supermarket.
