Cornerstone Schools Worker:

Our Schools Worker is leaving after 4½ successful and exciting years working with 4 primary schools and our team of Churches in Benwell, Newcastle upon Tyne. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and the ability to connect with old and young to continue this work and seek new opportunities.

The right person for the job will …
• Be able to communicate Christian faith & values to children aged 5-11
• Have creativity and imagination
• Be able to lead a team of volunteers
• Be enthusiastic and self motivated
• Be able to work flexibly
• Have skills in puppetry or be prepared to be trained in them

Based at Cornerstone (a Church Community Project) you would work an average of 16 hours a week and be paid £8528 pa.
The post is funded for 2 years with the possibility of further extensions subject to finding the necessary funding.
An enhanced CRB check and ISA registration is required for this post.
There is a Genuine Occupation Requirement (GOR) for the holder of this post to be a Christian.
