Olympics 2012

Olympic GamesLondon 2012 is a great opportunity for UK churches to engage in Olympic outreach with the world’s premier sporting event coming to London this summer!

By reaching out churches can impact the lives of their own community (children, youth and adults) and guests from around the globe (athletes, their families and international visitors).

Through the 2012 Games, churches - including yours - can be the hosts of the biggest party the UK has seen for a lifetime.

Many churches in the Diocese of Newcastle are planning events in the run-up to the Olympics and while the games are taking place. A growing list of planned events is below listed alphabetically by location.
